I thought there should have been no charge for this service, as the unit was installed only 2 years prior and the heat was not ever used. It was found to be not working due to a wiring issue during the original install.

What could have turned into a stressful and costly emergency, resulted in a calm and skillful service call. The service tech knew right where to start and after a single test, narrowed down the possibilities to the capacitor. Moreover, after placing the initial service call, the entire issue was resolved within two hours (including drive time)!!

AC estimate call. Install new portable AC unit and gave estimate on new air conditioning system.
AC service call. Evaluate the system to find a bad capacitor. Install a new capacitor and the system is now up and running at this time.
AC Maintenance Call. Perform routine maintenance per maintenance agreement on Rheem air conditioning split system.
AC Service call. Evaluated system to find a bad blower motor. Need to get replacement motor from manufacture, and will schedule for replacement in the future.
AC Service Call unit not heating. Evaluate system to find wiring corroded. Replaced corroded wire and unit is now heating properly.
